Longford Town produced the upset of the night in the Airtricity League Premier Division.

The Midlands side dented Cork City's hopes of a runners-up finish in the league after the came from a goal down to claim a 3-2 win at Turners Cross.

Kevin O'Connor clinched the winning goal six minutes from time.

Meanwhile, newly-crowned champions Dundalk were held to a scoreless draw by Galway United at Oriel Park and St Patrick's Athletic boosted their European prospects with a 2-1 win over Drogheda United at Richmond Park.
