Seamus Coleman: 'The Scotland game is a must win'

Seamus Coleman has said that Ireland's Euro 2016 qualification clash with Scotland is a must win game.

Martin O'Neill's side are in fourth place in Group D, behind Germany, Poland and Scotland on eight points, needing to be in the top three to have a chance of qualifying for the tournament in France.

The Donegal native was speaking to Colette Fitzpatrick on Newstalk Lunchtime this afternoon about the Special Olympics Collection Day.

Speaking about the June game, the Killybegs star stated:

"The second have against Poland gave us a lot of confidence. We know we are a good side when we want to be."

Coleman has been involved with the Special Olympics in recent years. His brother Stephen won a bronze medal for the Irish football team at the 2003 World Games.

The Everton defender told Newstalk Lunchtime, that has brother Stephen always reminds him that he was not the first family member to play football for Ireland.
