Solskjaer not worried by Rashford's lack of goals

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he's not worried about the lack of goals from Marcus Rashford, despite the forward struggling to score from open play this season.

He's found the back of the net three times so far during the current campaign, but two of those have been from penalties.

The Manchester United manager says the form of the England international is not a concern.

"He is still learning what finishes to make in different circumstances, I don't worry about it.

"One chance against Astana he could have finished with his left instead of his right but we are working with him every single day in training because he wants to improve.

"There are not many traditional number nines left now. Marcus can play right, left, up front on his own, or as a number 10.

"But the big thing is he is still young. As a striker he won't hit his peak until he is 26 or 27."

Striker Anthony Martial, midfielder Paul Pogba and defender Luke Shaw have all been ruled out of United's trip to West Ham United this Sunday though Solskjaer is hopeful that Daniel James will recover from an ankle injury to make the match at the London Stadium.
