The Paris attacks brought the world to a stand still on Friday night and many have already paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy.
The world is still reeling from the events and in a show of support and solidarity with Paris and France, figures from across the sporting world paid their respects across the weekend.
Italian footballer Leonardo Morosini scored a fantastic goal for Brescia in Serie B, and celebrated with the French flag in a show of support.

Marseille football ultras put their differences aside and unfurled a banner in the city centre that reads 'We Are Paris'.

In the NBA, New York Knicks and French native Kevin Seraphin showed his support by engraving 'PARIS' and a peace sign into his hair.

The Knicks also observed a minutes silence prior to the game and changed the colour of the court to those of the French flag.

In the NFL, the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions also honored the victims by observing a moments silence before kick-off at the Lambeau Field.

All across North American sports tributes poured in, with NHL side Ottawa Senators playing the French national anthem before their game against the Rangers.

All this weekends scheduled European rugby games in France were postponed out of respect, while all the games observed silence before kick-offs.
