Raheem Sterling's continuing Liverpool career appears to be in further doubt as his agent Aidy Ward has told the London Evening Standard that he is "definitely not signing" a new contract, regardless of what the club offer.
He is also quoted as saying he does not care about the PR of Liverpool and if people think he is bad at his job.
But he also rebuked former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, who has been vocally critical of Sterling and his agent, saying:
"Carragher is a k***. Everybody knows it. Any of the criticism from current pundits or ex-Liverpool players - none of them things matter to me. It is not relevant," he said.
As a result of Ward's comments, the Liverpool Echo have confirmed that a scheduled meeting between Sterling, his agent and Liverpool tomorrow has been postponed as a result of the latest developments.
