Team 33: When film and TV takes on football

Is football a subject conducive to fictional depictions on TV and in film?

There have been many attempts over the years from Escape To Victory and the Goal trilogy to cult series like Dream Team.

Joining Harchester United in the fictional football universe in Canadian show 21 Thunder which revolves around the lives of Montreal Thunder's U21 side on and off the field. 

The CBC show is now available on Netflix Ireland and if you've watched it, we'll let you be the judge of whether it's worth watching or not.
