Fixtures were disrupted due to adverse weather this weekend, but for the games that got the nod, how did the Irish fare across the water?
Championship
Kieren Westwood was taken off with a suspected concussion after starting in goal for Sheffield Wednesday following a collision with Tom Lees. Aiden McGeady started and played 61 minutes for the Owls.
Wednesday lost 3-1 to a Birmingham side that had Stephen Gleeson in the starting line-up.
Richie Towell was an unused substitute for Brighton during their 3-0 away win over Brentford. The home side did feature Alan Judge, who has received plaudits for his performances over the course of the season.
Bolton remain firmly in a relegation battle despite their 2-1 victory over Rotherham, who sit a point above them in 22nd.
Paul Green came on for the visitors in the 69th minute but couldn't prevent the loss.
Charlton continue their disastrous season with a 1-0 home defeat to Bristol City, for whom Derrick Williams started.
Stephen Henderson featured in goal for the home side, while Alex Pearce was an unused substitute for Bristol. Pearce is currently on loan from Derby County.
Plenty of Irish invovlement for the Rams during their 1-1 draw away to Fulham. Richard Keogh, Cyrus Christie and Jeff Hendrick all played full games for Derby.
Paul McShane was handed a starting berth for Reading's 0-0 draw with Wolves, for whom Matt Doherty played. Irish international Stephen Quinn was an unused sub for the home side, while for Wolves, neither Joe Mason nor Aaron McCarey made an appearance off the bench.
Huddersfield Town continued their miserable run, now four consecutive defeats in all competitions, with a 2-1 way defeat to Preston North End.
Greg Cunningham and Alan Browne both started for Preston, while Eoin Doyle made a cameo appearance from the bench. Joe Murphy was an unused substitute for Huddersfield.
Stephen Ward is starting to stake his claim for a spot at Euro 2016, his Burnley side kept a clean sheet against Hull City in a 1-0 win. David Meyler did not make an appearance from the bench for Steve Bruce's side.
Mick McCarthy's Ipswich Town featured Daryl Murphy as a second half substitute, but his presence on the pitch couldn't prevent a 1-0 away defeat to QPR. Kevin Foley was not used as a replacement for the Tractor boys.
Daragh Linehan picked up a yellow card for Blackburn during their 1-1 draw away to promotion chasing Middlesbrough, while Shane Duffy was on the bench for Paul Lambert's side.
Anthony Pilkington failed to make the scoresheet and was withdrawn in the dying stages for Cardiff during their scoreless draw at home to MK Dons. The away side featured Darren Potter and Sam Carruthers.

League One
There was a heavy Irish presence in Millwall's 3-0 win away to Walsall. Shaun Williams featured for the full 90 minutes, while Aiden O'Brien made an appearance in the dying minutes.
David Forde made the bench but has fallen down the pecking order as both Ireland's and Millwall's first choice goalkeeper.
Barnsley sit in the top half of the table, thanks to their 3-0 win over Bury at Oakwell.
Kevin Long, Aidan White and Conor Hourihane all featured for the home side, while Manchester City loanee Ian Lawlor conceded three times as the Bury netminder.
John O'Sullivan was withdrawn after 49 minutes for the visitors.
Burton Albion remain top of the pile after a comfortable 3-0 win over Bradford this weekend.
Damien McCrory and Callum Reilly both featured for Burton, while Anthony O'Connor was not called upon as a substitute.
Colchester haven't won in the league since October 20 and that miserable form continued this weekend with a 3-0 defeat away to Southend.
Cian Bolger starred in Southend's victory, but the same could not be said for David Mooney and Gary Deegan who spent the 90 minutes on the bench.
Former Crystal Palace midfielder Owen Garvan featured for Colchester.
Michael Doyle started and Enda Stevens was booked during Portsmouth's 1-0 home defeat to Leyton Orient. Adam Barton was an unused substitute for the home side.
Former St Pats midfielder Chris Forrester played a part in Peterborough's 1-0 away win against Chesterfield.
James O'Shea came off after 80 minutes for the home side while Conor Dimaio didn't make an appearance off the bench.
Wigan are five points off top spot after their 2-0 win at Sheffield United.
Chris McCann was on the winning side of the fixture, while Conor Sammon was withdrawn after 46 minutes for the Blades.

League Two
Northampton reaffirmed their position as League Two's team to beat with a routine 2-0 win at home to basement club York City.
John-Joe O'Toole scored for the home side, while Brendan Moloney also played a part in the victory.
Kenneth McEvoy made way for compatriot James Trevor for the visitors.
Carlisle dealt a blow to Accrington Stanley's promotion hopes with a 2-0 home win. Seamus Conneely was on the losing side of that one.
Wycombe Wanderes defender Michael Harriman will be disappointed after his side suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Luton Town, for whom Alan Sheehan had a more enjoyable day in the backline.
