Arsenal did not get a lot of favours from referee Mike Dean during their Premier League defeat to Chelsea.
The Gunners had defender Gabriel and Santi Cazorla sent off by referee Mike Dean in the 2-0 loss, while Chelsea's controversial forward Diego Costa escaped major sanction despite getting up to no good during the game.
"I don't understand Mike Dean's decision at all. Not on the sending off but why does Diego Costa stay on the pitch and Gabriel is sent off? I accept Gabriel shouldn't react at all. But for me, he is always provoking and also uses the naivety of Mike Dean in this game," said Arsene Wenger.
But as it turns out, the stats do show that Dean is hardly a good omen for Arsenal when he officiates their games, which will not help Wenger's mood.
