Victor Valdes is heading for Standard Liege on a loan deal, pending a successful medical report.
The Manchester United goalkeeper was signed to the club last January but relations with LVG are believed to be hostile after the former Barcelona 'keeper allegedly refused to play for the reserves.
Valdes was offended by the accusation and was not given a squad number this season as a result of the feud with the current manager. Sergio Romero and Sam Johnstone have been chosen as the back-up goalkeepers for David De Gea, meaning that Valdes has been made surplus to requirements.
Valdes tweeted a goodbye message to his fans today and will spend the rest of the season with the Belgian club.
