WATCH: An 89th minute goal sends Turkey to Euro 2016

Turkey qualified for Euro 2016 last night after a dramatic night at home to the already qualified Iceland.

Fatih Terim's side had to defeat Iceland and hope Kazakhstan defeated Latvia in Riga. The Kazakhs took the lead in Latvia midway through the second half through Islambek Kuat but Turkey were still destined for the play offs.

On 89 minutes, Selcuk Inan stepped up to score the goal that would send Turkey to Euro 2016. It will only be their fourth appearance in the tournament, after previously reaching the semi finals in 2008.

When the news came through from Riga, that Kazakhstan had won their game, the players began to celebrate on the pitch in Konya. The win for Turkey sent Hungary into the play offs.
