Earlier this week, Cristiano Ronaldo equaled the scoring record of Real Madrid legend Raúl, slotting home his 500th goal in professional football in the process.
He's certainly come a long way since his debut as a thin, awkward-looking 17-year-old, but even back then he was showing the glimpses of the star he would become in the future.
His first ever goal in professional football came with Sporting Lisbon, the team where he started out as a kid and shot through the ranks to eventually take to the field on the 7th of October, 2002 in a cup game against Moreirense, where he produced this moment of magic.
As the commentators point out after Ronaldo slots the ball home, he was obviously a remarkable talent who wasn't long for the Portuguese league, and the sight of him wheeling away in celebration was one that was sure to become very familiar indeed.
