It's a dream of most goalkeepers, but for Barry Roche, scoring a goal became a reality last night.
The Dublin native scored an added-time equaliser for Morecambe last night in their League 2 clash against Portsmouth at the Globe Arena.
Roche joined Morecambe in 2008 and has played over 300 times for the club following spells at Chesterfield and Nottingham Forest. Both Morecambe and Portsmouth reacted to the goal in understandably different ways.

Morecambe's keeper comes up for the corner and is there to head home right at the death #pompey

The draw means that Portsmouth stay in the play-offs while Morecambe move up to 14th place, It might not be the most important game in Barry Roche's career, but he won't forget it in a hurry.
