The Manchester United manager sent a message of support to Dundalk ahead of the showpiece final on Sunday.
Van Gaal was meeting fans after his side's match against West Brom, when Catherine Doyle asked him if he would be able to send his support to her local team ahead of their big match in the cup final this weekend.
He duly obliged, and even seemed to try a bit of an Irish accent while he did it.
