Manchester United are up against Belgian side Club Brugge in tonight's Champions League playoff stage first leg.
It's fair to say they will be heavy favourites to progress to the group stage, and they have always qualified from this stage of the tournament.
In 2005-06, they eased past Debrecen of Hungary, while the same outcome occurred when they came across Romania's Steaua Bucharest the previous season.
But back in 2002-03, they did suffer a brief scare against another Hungarian side, Zalaegerszeg. Although they did win the second leg 5-0 at Old Trafford, the first match ended up going to Zalaergerszeg by a 1-0 scoreline thanks to this Bela Koplárovics finish in the final seconds:
