Roy Keane was fielding questions about Ireland's international commitments earlier today.
But he also gave a response to matters of less importance from an Irish point of view, namely Cristiano Ronaldo.
His former Manchester United team-mate is the centre-piece of a new documentary film, aptly called Ronaldo and the Real Madrid winger has been crediting Keane screaming at him in training as one of the things that helped him during his time at Old Trafford.
"Yeah I made him. Only for me he wouldn’t be where he is," joked Keane when those Ronaldo comments were put to him.
Highlighting how Ronaldo needed little motivation from outside sources, he added: "I didn’t shout at Ronaldo that much. I didn’t have to."
