Wenger does not want fan protest to take place during Arsenal's clash with Leicester

Arsene Wenger has called for any fan protests this Sunday to take place before and after, but not during Arsenal's clash with Leicester.

The Gunners welcome the table-topping Foxes to the Emirates on Sunday.

The fixture was switched from Saturday 3pm to Sunday at noon in order for it to be broadcast live on TV, angering many Leicester fans who were forced to alter their plans.

They plan to enter the stadium five minutes late in protest, with a group of Arsenal fans set to join them in solidarity.

But the possibility of a fan protest during the game is not something Wenger is in favour of.

"You can protest before and after but during the game you want everybody to be there," he said.
