Dublin rising star Lorcan O'Dell and his manager Tom Gray have won the 2020 Eirgrid provincial awards to add to their Leinster under-20 title.

The young Boys in Blue were crowned back-to-back Leinster champions earlier this month after they defeated Laois by 0-18 to 0-08 in the final.

O’Dell won the man of the match award for his performance in the provincial decider and has now been named the EirGrid GAA U20 Player of the Province.

The centre-forward played a crucial role on the Dublin squad throughout their provincial campaign in which Dublin defeated Longford and Meath in the quarter-final and semi-final respectively.

Gray also won the EirGrid GAA U20 Manager of the Province award for the second year in a row for his 'leadership qualities'.

The Dublin boss guided his team through the knockout stages after a big win against Wicklow in round one.

In the other provincial championships, Ruaidhri Ó Beagloaich has been named as the Player of the Province for Munster.

The Kerry forward kicked five points in the Kingdom's Munster final win against Cork.

Ó Beagloaich's manager John Sugrue picked up the Manager of the Province award.

In Connacht, Cathal Sweeney, who hit three points for Galway in their hammering of Roscommon in the provincial final, has taken the Player of the Province award.

The Tribesmen's boss Donal Ó Fátharta collected the award for Manager of the Province.

The Ulster champions Tyrone's full-back Cormac Munroe has been named as Ulster Player of the Province and the Manager of the Province has been awarded to Paul Devlin.

The All-Ireland semi-finals; Dublin versus Tyrone and Kerry versus Galway, were due to take place on St Patrick's Day.

However the games could not go ahead with the GAA having suspended all activity due to the coronavirus crisis with no return to training or matches until April 19, at the earliest.
