Highlights on Off The Ball

The IRFU have confirmed that centre Garry Ringrose will miss the next two rounds of games in the Six Nations after a procedure on the hand injury he sustained against Scotland on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium.

Ringrose was one of three players to leave the field due to injury in the 19-12 win over Scotland. Caelan Doris lasted less than five minutes on his debut and Dave Kilcoyne also having to be replaced after coming off the bench.

The update on the Leinster centre read: "Garry Ringrose has had a procedure on a hand injury and is due to be available for selection ahead of Round 4 of the Championship. Garry will stay connected with the squad as a member of the leadership group."

Protocols

The IRFU also conformed that Kilcoyne and Doris are going through the graduated return to play protocols with both having left the field following head knocks. Both forwards remain in the squad and should they complete the return to play protocols are eligible for selection.

Will Connors has been added to the squad, the Kildare man becomes the third uncapped player among the extended group of 37. While Development Players Ryan Baird (Leinster), Robert Baloucoune (Ulster) and Harry Byrne (Leinster) have returned to their respective provinces.

Tadhg Furlong reported some tightness in his hamstring late in the game and is another whose fitness will be monitored across the early part of the week.

The game was a test of Ireland's front row versatility, with Andrew Porter playing on both sides of the front row during the game and Cian Healy returning to the field twice after he was replaced around the 50th minute.

Ireland play Wales at the Aviva on Saturday with the team again expected to be announced on Tuesday afternoon, a game Ringrose will definitely miss. Along with the Twickenham clash against England who will look to put their Paris loss behind them against Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.
