It was a busy afternoon of GAA club county finals across the country today, with the result in the Limerick hurling decider the stand-out.

2016 All-Ireland Club champions Na Piarsaigh have been beaten in the Limerick senior club hurling final.

Patrickswell won on a 1-17 to 0-15 scoreline at the Gaelic Grounds to earn their 20th county senior title.

Four Roads beat Athleague 1-19 to 1-8 in a repeat of last year's final in Roscommon.

Kiltale and Kildalkey will have to go again in Meath after they drew 1-13 apiece.

The Wicklow decider saw Bray Emmets retain their crown with a 1-19 to 1-9 win over Glenealy.

Naas are the new Kildare hurling champions after they beat Coill Dubh 0-15 to 0-12.

Eire Og clinched their third Carlow senior football title in a row - they beat play Palatine comfortably 1-16 to 0-5.

Holders Cargin and Lamh Dhearg will have to play a replay after their Antrim decider finished all square 1-10 to 0-13 today.

And the Longford Senior Football final saw Killoe Emmet Og emerge victorious by a single point - they beat Longford Slashers 0-12 to 0-11.

Meanwhile, the Dublin Senior 'A' Hurling Championship final line-up has been confirmed.

St Brigid's will take on Cuala on Sunday, October 20th at 4 pm at Parnell Pak in the capital.

St Brigid's were the first side to qualify for the decider earlier today - they were 2-16 to 1-13 winners over Craobh Chairain.

Cian O'Sullivan and Paul Winters scored the goals for Brigid's in the first half.

Cuala then progressed after an impressive 11-point win over St Vincent's on a 3-21 to 1-16 scoreline.

Mark Schutte, Colm Cronin and Dublin senior football star Con O'Callaghan bagged 2-10 between them to help their side qualify for another county decider.

Brian Bolger had the green flag raised for St Vincent's within 40 seconds of the throw-in, but eventual winners Cuala responded with a goal of their own very shortly after.
