For anyone who grew up in the 1990s or before, Nottingham Forest is one of the iconic names in football.
Yet ever since relegation from the Premier League in 1998, the two-time European Cup winners have never returned to the top flight.
This season there were high hopes for the club under the management of former Forest hero Stuart Pearce and the money spent by owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi.
Yet midway through the season and Forest seem to have gone backwards. Pearce has already been replaced by Dougie Freedman with the club down in 12th in the Championship table, while Al-Hasawi hinted at instability in his position through his Twitter account last night:

We were joined by football writer Daniel Storey on Off The Ball to discuss the situation, and between a lack of leadership from the owner to Stuart Pearce's non-existent managerial ability, he believes the club is on shaky ground.
"There is a very good reason why Stuart Pearce didn't work at the club - probably because he's not a good football manager," said Daniel Storey.
"There are mitigating circumstances why Pearce, among other managers, has not done a good job and that's because it's a house built on sand at the minute. It's difficult to gain any stability at the club because the owner seems to be preaching almost a policy of instability."
Storey said Al-Hasawi does not seem to have a plan for the club, relying on "wild promises" of one day bringing back Premier League and European football to Nottingham.
"Fawaz Al-Hasawi has big plans but he hasn't got the patience to see through those plans. He is awful at both delegation and communication. He seems to want to do everything himself and yet communicates almost exclusively via Twitter messages of 'c'mon let's get behind the team,'" said Storey.
