Brazil winning games, but still losing friends?

No matter what strength of soap Brazil's national team use, they will never be able scrub away the memories of that 7-1 defeat at the World Cup.

But the only way to make that ill-advised tattoo to fade away is to win some games and that is exactly what the Selecao have been doing since last summer under manager Dunga.

But has anything really changed in terms of the style of football which helped spell their downfall on home soil?

BBC South American football expert Tim Vickery suggests that not a lot has actually changed as he joined Off The Ball to talk about the eight consecutive friendly victories they have churned out.

"You can see little bits of progress with basically one or two modifications. It's still the same model of play that they used during the World Cup where even while they were winning games, Brazil were losing friends," said Tim.

"[Dunga] doesn't seem to care about the style of issue. He doesn't seem to understand that people around the world expect a certain brand of football from Brazil. When this issue is put to him, he sees this as all part of a global conspiracy against Brazil - people who want Brazil to play beautifully at football are people who want Brazil to lose."

Tim also gave his take on Argentina's form since they reached last summer's World Cup final as Carlos Tevez beds back in.
