Tyrone manager Mickey Harte is eager to make up for last years' All-Ireland semi-final defeat against Dublin and deny them a record equaling fourth Sam Maguire win in a row.
Jim Gavin's side dismantled Tyrone at the penultimate stage of the 2017 Championship with a comprehensive 2-17 to 0-11 win at Croke Park but Harte was eager to point out that his side played a big part in their own demise.
"Some things happen which are just basic errors, basic handling errors, led to the opportunity for their goal and that goal coming so early, I suppose, rocked us a bit on our heels," he told Off the Ball's Will O'Callaghan.
"It maybe changed the way we intended to play the game in that it was now played on Dublin's terms, not ours. So that was part of it anyway.
"Maybe we didn't express ourselves as well as we ought to have done - maybe the occasion got to us - maybe we were caught in the headlights type thing - all of those things would have contributed to it and not least, Dublin's excellence.
"I think when they got a grip of the game - they just cruised to victory - and that's what Dublin can do when they get a run on you. So, a lot of factors involved in it - some things we can attend to and some that are maybe beyond our control," he added.
The Tyrone supremo also praised the continuity shown by the champions ahead of their clash and is keen to bring their reign to an end.
"It's very difficult to win back-to-back All-Ireland's, to get three-in-a-row is even more difficult and to be in pole position to get four-in-a-row to such an extent that people are talking about five now - just shows you the level that Dublin are at.
"The quality of player that they have on the field, the quality that they have to come in, the quality of management they have and the experience they now have of winning titles at the top level - so yes, this is a huge, huge ask of us but, as I always say, every record and every good run comes to an end some time.
"And, you know, we're in a position to try and effect that kind of change on the system so we have to do our best to try and do that."
