"I wouldn't bet against Tiger winning another 3-4 majors"

It's one of sport's most remarkable comebacks but how long can Tiger Woods keep it going?

Against all expectations, the former World No 1 is now onto 15 majors. And while the chase for Jack Nicklaus' mark of 18 seemed impossible, the Masters has shown that there's life in the old Tiger yet.

To reflect on Tiger's triumph, golf writers Lawrence Donegan and Dermot Gilleece joined us. Both had their say on whether it's realistic for Tiger to now go on and go for that all-time majors record.

Donegan believes Tiger will now tailor his schedule to allow him to target the Majors.

"The whole marketing thing is going to kick in now," he said.

Race To Jack

"I mean, Nike were already at it yesterday afternoon. It is all about the Race To Jack, isn't it?  So I think his scheduled will narrow back to what it was in the day.

"And it's all about these next four Majors for him. Whether or not he gets there, will be a very interesting question."

Gilleece believes a reduced schedule coupled with good fitness may be enough to give Tiger the impetus to go for the four majors he needs to get to 19.

"I don't see any reason why Tiger, once he takes care of his health and doesn't over do it... I mean, there's no question he was very tired last year at the Ryder Cup," he said.

"But he said afterwards yesterday in his press conference that he was definitely cutting back on his schedule this year.

"So I think if he manages his tournaments, [he could do it]. Nicklaus at his peak played no more than 13-14 PGA events every year and I think that's what Tiger is going to finish doing.

"And I wouldn't bet against him winning another 3-4 majors, I really wouldn't."
