Barcelona see off Juventus to grab Champions League glory

Luis Suarez found the net for Barcelona as the Catalan giants won the UEFA Champions League for the fifth time in their history.

The Uruguayan forward struck on 68 minutes for Luis Enrique's side to help them to a 3-1 victory against Juventus in tonight's final in Berlin, with goals by Ivan Rakitic and Neymar book-ending the game.

Barca made a lightning quick start to the match. Neymar picked up the ball on the left-hand side of the box before finding Andres Iniesta. The scorer of the 2010 World Cup final's winning goal then fed Rakitic, who found the net.

However, Juventus were rewarded for their resolve in the second half. Marc-Andre Ter Stegen failed to hold a Carlos Tevez shot and strike partner Alvaro Morata was on hand to tap in the rebound on 55 minutes.

Ten minutes later, Suarez made his mark. Lionel Messi saw his shot from outside the box saved by Gianluigi Buffon.

However, the Italian goalkeeper could only divert it into Suarez's path and the former Liverpool forward converted the rebound.

Shortly after, Neymar had a goal ruled out after heading the ball into his hand and past Buffon.

However, he did find the net on the counter-attack in injury time to seal a 3-1 win.
